Statistics: Russia’s January inflation at 11.77% year/year

MOSCOW, Feb 10 (PRIME) -- Russia’s inflation amounted to 11.77% in January after 11.94% a year earlier, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Friday.

Monthly inflation reached 0.84% after 0.78%, the service said.

Food inflation sped up to 1.32% from 0.6%, and reached 10.16% on the month, while non-food inflation stood at 0.21% on the month and at 12.19% on the year. Prices for services gained 1.01% on the month and 13.47% on the year.

The average retail price of diesel fuel increased by 0.6% on the month, the gasoline price remained flat.
